Planting & Growing Guide
Dahlias thrive in full sun and well-draining soil. Plant tubers after all danger of frost has passed, 4–6″ deep and 12–18″ apart. Pinch at ~12″ tall to encourage branching and more blooms. Provide sturdy support for tall stems. Water consistently (avoid waterlogging) and deadhead regularly to extend the season. In cooler regions, lift tubers after frost, cure, and store in a cool, dry place for replanting next year.
