Planting & Growing Guide

Dahlias thrive in full sun and well-draining soil. Plant tubers after all danger of frost, 4–6″ deep and 12–18″ apart. Pinch at ~12″ tall to encourage branching and more bloom sites. Provide support for upright stems. Water consistently (avoid waterlogging) and deadhead to extend flowering. In cooler regions, lift tubers after frost, cure, and store in a cool, dry place
