Planting & Growing Guide
Dahlias thrive in full sun and well-draining soil. Plant tubers after all danger of frost, 4–6″ deep and 12–18″ apart depending on variety size. Pinch plants at ~12″ tall to encourage bushier growth and more blooms. Provide support as needed. Water consistently (avoid waterlogging) and deadhead to extend flowering. In cooler regions, lift tubers after frost, cure, and store in a cool, dry place for replanting next year.
