Dahlia ‘Night Silence’
Dark as velvet at dusk, ‘Night Silence’ opens perfectly sculpted blooms in saturated black-plum—petals so deep they read almost inky in cool light and rich wine in the sun. The flowers hold a polished, rounded silhouette on long, straight stems, bringing moody elegance to the field and unforgettable drama to the vase. A steady producer from midseason on, it’s the dark note that makes every palette sing.

Garden Reverie
Imagine armfuls of velvety wine-toned globes—quiet, luxurious shadows that set off every blush, bronze, and cream around them. ‘Night Silence’ is refined drama in bloom.
Planting & Growing Guide
Dahlias thrive in full sun and well-draining soil. Plant tubers after all danger of frost, 4–6″ deep and 12–18″ apart depending on variety size. Pinch plants at ~12″ tall to encourage bushier growth and more blooms. Provide sturdy support for taller stems. Water consistently (avoid waterlogging) and deadhead to extend the season. In cooler regions, lift tubers after frost, cure, and store in a cool, dry place for replanting next year.

Dahlia Tubers need to store in a cool and dark place. I use water misted vermiculite. Please note that I am in zone 11 and your planting zone may likely need a completely different method of storage. Our tubers are shipped with the intention of the customer planting right away. Please look up proper dahlia planting for your zone.
