Dahlia ‘Isabel’

Like twilight captured in a bloom, ‘Isabel’ unfurls perfectly rounded ball flowers in a nuanced blend of lavender and dusty rose, with the faintest bronze-coral undertone near the heart. Each petal tucks neatly to create a luminous, sculpted sphere on long, elegant stems. Steady, refined, and beautifully versatile, this variety brings quiet sophistication to borders and bouquets from midsummer to frost.

Planting & Growing Guide

Dahlias thrive in full sun and well-draining soil. Plant tubers after all danger of frost has passed, 4–6″ deep and spaced 12–18″ apart depending on variety size. Pinch plants when ~12″ tall to encourage bushier growth and more blooms. Provide sturdy support for upright stems. Water consistently (avoid soggy soil) and deadhead regularly to extend the flowering season. In cooler regions, lift tubers after frost, cure them, and store in a cool, dry place for replanting next year.

Materials
