Dahlias thrive in full sun and well-draining soil. Plant tubers after all danger of frost has passed, 4–6″ deep and spaced 12–18″ apart depending on variety size. Pinch at ~12″ tall to encourage bushier growth and more blooms. Provide sturdy support for upright stems. Water consistently (avoid soggy soil) and deadhead regularly to extend flowering.
