Cafe Au Lait is likely the most famous of all dahlias, often referred to as "The Queen" and we couldn't agree more. The first time I saw her and I knew, I was hooked- there was no looking back. Cafe Au Lait or CAL for short blooms in range of color from creams to pinks . CAL is a dinner plate variety. This is a must grow in your garden. All the pics are from the same variety and may produce any of these colors. Fun fact, Dahlia tubers as well as their petals are edible! Try out a recipe next season after your tubers have multiplied.

Materials

Single viable root of which to propagate a dahlia from the parent plant.

Please allow two business days to prepare for shipping. The tuber is not packed in long term storage material, please ensure you are prepared to plant or store the tubers properly. It is the customers responsibility to care for the tuber after it arrives.

Dimensions

Dahlia tubers come in all shapes and sizes. Please note a certain shape or size does not produce a better or worse quality plant. Ugly tubers make beautiful plants!

Care Instructions

Dahlia Tubers need to store in a cool and dark place. I use water misted vermiculite. Please note that I am in zone 11 and your planting zone may likely need a completely different method of storage. Our tubers are shipped with the intention of the customer planting right away. Please look up proper dahlia planting for your zone.
